Privacy Policy

Who we are. One Purpose Trading, LLC ("OPT", "we", "us"). Contact: support@onepurposetrading.com.
One Purpose Trading is a trading education company. We collect as little personal information as we can, we do not sell it, and this page explains exactly what we do with it.
1. What we collect
Information you give us. Your name and email when you create an account, join the launch list, or contact us. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. If you post in the community or submit a testimonial, we collect what you choose to share.
Information created as you use the platform. Course enrollment and lesson progress, video playback events (so lessons resume where you left off), journal entries and trade data you import into the OPT Trading Journal, support messages, and purchase history.
Information collected automatically. IP address, device and browser type, and page interactions, through the analytics services listed below, and only as permitted by your cookie consent choices. See the Cookie Policy.
2. How we use it
To deliver the courses and journal you paid for; to process payments and refunds; to send transactional email (receipts, password resets, progress notifications); to send marketing email only if you opted in, with a working unsubscribe in every message; to keep the platform secure and prevent fraud; to improve lessons using aggregate, de-identified usage patterns; and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your journal or trade data to trade against you, to sell to third parties, or for any purpose other than showing you your own analytics and, where the feature says so, generating your private insights.
3. We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and a "Your Privacy Choices" link will be added to every page footer before any such sharing begins.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of vetted service providers to run the platform. Each receives only the data its role requires:

5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about a request.
To make a request, email support@onepurposetrading.com from your account email. We verify requests against your account email and respond within 45 days (or sooner where your state requires it). If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within 45 days. We never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where required by law.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data enters a 30-day soft-delete window and is then permanently deleted, except records we must keep (for example, purchase records for tax and accounting). Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe and ask us to erase your address.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, strict database access controls, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise otherwise. If a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.
8. Age requirement
One Purpose Trading is built for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close the account and delete its personal information.
9. International visitors
We operate from the United States and data is processed here. If you visit from outside the US, you consent to that processing.
10. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will email account holders before they take effect.
